Lucas started basketball a few years ago, however, it was not until this year that we really saw an interest in playing. Lucas started basketball as a way to get more fit, especially, after Covid, and to learn some life skills (patience, hard work ethics, and sportsmanship). But we never seen a true passion for the game, until this year when he didn't make it back on his rep team. It pushed him to work harder and we felt this was the turning point for him. The game became a hobby to a passion. He had the basic skills but was lacking form and confidence. His mindset was also holding him back because he felt he didn't want to let his team down or was scared to miss shots and so he didn't even try. Initially Lucas loved to pass the ball and never taking the risks but we have seen a dramatic change.
Immediately after starting with Moud Basketball training program, we saw tremendous improvement in his shooting form and overall playing. He realized quickly why he wasn't getting the ball in, and it was largely due to Moud pointing out his wrong form or even just tweaking his position, arm or how to bend. His mindset has also improved due to Moud asking him questions that stimulate his mind to ask those hard questions that his rep coach is not asking him. We also like how Moud has incorporated writing in his book after each session, to keep reflecting.
We would 100% recommend this program for any one that wants to push themselves a bit more than what their current team/coach is offering. It's a completely different way of training and we really appreciated how Moud starts with the basics and mastering that before moving on. His training is not easy but it works for Lucas and he has gained so much more than what he had learned in the past 2 years. We strongly believe that is because of this training program and how supportive Moud has been to Lucas.
